The North American Native Research and Education Foundation (NANREF) is a 501 (c) (3). We are a non-profit tax exempt organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. NANREF is fully recognized as a viable organization within the National Science Foundation (NSF) and many other government agencies.
NANREF objectives are to:
  1. provide educational and research opportunities to American Indian students (K-gray) with the sole purpose of encouraging life-long learning and sharing.
  2. acknowledge, respect, and have humble gratefulness to all the sacred cycles of life.
NANREF goals are to:
  1. integrate learning for all disciplines while communicating effectively, solving problems, and working in groups with all people.
  2. involve our students in real-world projects that give our students a realistic look at deadlines, frustrations, problem solving, and the true beauty of learning within all disciplines.
  3. raise the self-esteem and cultural pride of American Indian students.
NANREF education philosophy is homologous to what J. Francis Rummel has summarized “Now that we have achieved education for all, let us now seek education for each.”
NANREF would like to be your partner in education and research. Both Native and Non-native are welcome to be a partner. Let’s visit soon and see what we can do together.
